7:00pm
Secret Art Space: Southside Bethlehem, PA (email hyphen79[at]gmail[dot]com for directions)

Broken Water
(Olympia, WA • Night People, Fan Death, Radio Is Down)
"Broken Water's sound seems to resound in the rainy coastal woodlands that they are surrounded by. Dense walls of slow swirling distortion breath out into moments of cold syrupy magma and reverb drenched beauty. Droning post punk bass grooves build foundations for constantly evolving guitar riffing and somber vocal passages, a subtle psychedelic s...ound as heavy as it is lite, as dark as it is colorful, and as deep as it is wide. Broken Water's dreamy take on hazy pastoral sonic exploration is as unique as it is nostalgic and provides endless amounts of killer listening." - Night People (I'm excited to have them back, and you should be, too. If you missed them last time, don't repeat that mistake. One of my favorite SAS performances)

Pet Milk (Philadelphia, PA • members of Brown Recluse, A Sunny Day In Glasgow, Paint It Black...)
My brain is currently unable to compose write-ups, so I'll just pinch the tags from their band camp, which I think covers their sound nicely (if not, just go listen already! These people are swell!): c86, indie pop, noise pop, shoegaze, twee

Ghost Ship (Allentown, PA)
Noise-Garage-Dream Pop. I told you already, my brain isn't up to doing strong write-ups. Go give these kids a listen, then come out and see them. But I will say it sounds like they cut their teeth on some good pop.
